Most parents are aware that SIDS occurs. Most are educated about Safe Sleep Positions, and other risk factors. Many babies who die of SIDS are not found dead, whereas there are some (like Knox) who had been found so close to when he actually 'died' that he was able to be resucitated. Had I known correctly how to perform infant CPR, I think I could have helped him sooner. Those 3 minutes were critical for his surcucal and we lost them because I was uneducated. Every parent should know Infant CPR.
